General purpose of the position
Answering to the General Manager, the Digital Account Director plays an integral role in the successful planning and implementation of digital communication strategies for client healthcare brands. This person has a strong sense of user experience, visual design and information architecture. He/she considers all touch points and digital experiences with the brand. He/she helps to create innovative ideas that bridge web, mobile, email, creative, gaming, search and digital media to provide solutions to clients that are based on user insight and in context of overall marketing and CRM strategies.
The Digital Account Director will plan and sell-in marketing approaches, apprise clients of competitive activity, and make informed and authoritative recommendations regarding emerging digital and new technologies. The role demands a love of all things new, a passion for digital trends and technologies, an understanding of healthcare promotion, our clients, and their brands.
The Group Account Director owns the client relationship, drives the brand strategy and brand position, and manages the day-to-day operations of the Account Service Team across multiple brands. The Group Account Director fully owns the revenue and projections. He or she establishes and implements Agency operational standards to ensure the timely delivery of outstanding creative that meets the client's strategic objectives.
Primary functions include maintaining an in-depth knowledge of account business needs and market landscape, delivery of strategic and tactical initiatives to meet client business objectives, assisting in meeting or exceeding (agency) financial targets, staffing, developing and leading the integrated team, ensuring timely customer invoicing, and stimulating organic growth within the account.
