Collections Helper (Upper Marlboro)
Compost Crew is searching for capable and reliable Collections Helpers who can support our Drivers to provide a high level of service on a consistent basis to our ever-growing customer base. The position includes regular hours and a consistent weekly schedule. You will help Compost Crew to make a positive impact on our community by saving our environment by recycling food scraps.
Composting Operator - Full time (Rockville, MD)
Do you enjoy working outdoors? Are you interested in a career diverting food waste from landfills? We're hiring a Composting Operator to perform composting operations at our innovative on-farm Compost Outposts located in Maryland and Virginia. As Composting Operator, you'll work closely with our Composting Operations Supervisor to turn food scraps from our customer base into nutrient-rich compost. Primary location is Dickerson, MD, with regional travel to sites throughout the DMV. This is a great opportunity for you if you want to build your career in sustainability while you earn competitive pay, gain full-time benefits and enjoy time for personal pursuits. You will work 30-40 hours per week. This is a regular full-time position with comprehensive benefits eligibility. Compensation: $18 - $19/hr.

Primary location is Dickerson, MD, with regional travel to sites throughout the DMV. You will work 8 to 24 variable hours per week. Compensation: $18/hr.

Fleet Supervisor/Technician (Upper Marlboro)
Are you a strategic fleet services leader? Do you combine hands-on mechanical expertise with vendor partnership finesse and organizational efficiency? As Fleet Supervisor/Technician, you'll report directly to the Operations Director. With primary responsibility for vehicle repair and maintenance operations, you'll ensure that both scheduled and unscheduled services are performed with excellence. This is a working supervisor position with about 35% hands-on mechanic work, based in Upper Marlboro, MD, and Rockville, MD.
Route Supervisor (Rockville, MD)
As Compost Crew Route Supervisor, you'll lead and supervise a team of Drivers (CDL and Non-CDL) and Driver Helpers in their daily collection of food scraps for recycling. You'll ensure that all collection routes are completed as scheduled to meet the highest standards of safety, customer service, efficiency and fleet maintenance. Your typical work day will start at 3:45 am Monday to Friday with a rotating weekend on-call schedule. You'll be based in Rockville, MD, with periodic assignments in Upper Marlboro, MD.
