Case Manager-Dan River ASAP (Martinsville, VA)

The Case Manager is responsible for cases from intake until probation ends and a final report is made to referring agency. The Case Manager provides intake and referral services and is responsible for investigation, classifying, referring, monitoring and recommending dispositions of probationers who have been placed VASAP. The Case Manager must follow all guidelines and requirements in addition to the requirements set forth herein.

Electric Service Technician (Martinsville, VA)

Performs semi-skilled work assisting line technicians and substation/meter technicians in a variety of electric utility operations. Duties include operating equipment, performing groundwork, and assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electric distribution systems, substations, and metering equipment.

FIREFIGHTER/EMS FULL-TIME (Martinsville, VA)

First Class Substation Meter Technician (Martinsville, VA)

This is skilled journeyman-level work involving the installation, repair, maintenance, programming, and testing of electric meters and relays, as well as the maintenance and monitoring of substation equipment. Work is performed from poles, bucket trucks, and within substations, often in proximity to energized high-voltage equipment.

Second Class Substation/Meter Technician (Martinsville, VA)

This is semi‑skilled and skilled work assisting a first-class substation and meter technician in the installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of meters, relays, and substation equipment. Work involves assisting in the installation, maintenance, and testing of meters and relays, and the maintenance and monitoring of substation equipment.

Utility Maintenance Worker (Water Resources) (Martinsville, VA)

The City of Martinsville is seeking applicants for the position of Utility Maintenance Worker (Water Resources). This is skilled labor and trade work performing construction, repair, and maintenance of water/sewer facilities.
