Founded in 1974 by John Harris with a dream to teach the world to fly. Our mission has become to be the leading company in adventure recreation and retailing by building a reputation for fun and excellence through dedication to customer service, quality, safety, and value.

We're a national adventure and retail operation - locations from Maine to Florida but mostly based on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. If it's fun to do on the Outer Banks, we do it. Kitty Hawk Kites is the world's largest and oldest Hang Gliding School and now features a Kite Boarding School and Resort, Kayaking tours and much more! We were voted one of National Geographic Adventure Magazine's Best Adventure Travel Companies on Earth in 2007.  We have over 15 retail locations along the Outer Banks and more locations in 5 other states.  We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and energetic people to come join our crew.
