Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer will maintain all resort assets and all resort areas to an acceptable quality standard. This position will report directly to the Chief Engineer and is located in Los Olivos, CA.

Experience Host

The Experience Host provides exceptional service and a warm welcome to all guests who participate in unique experiences on property. The Experience Host is responsible for setup, execution and follow through of all guest experiences at The Inn at Mattei's Tavern.  The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience in event planning and execution, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests and team members alike. 

Finance

Accountant

The Staff Accountant maintains the property's Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Cashier functions in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. Additionally, the Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.

Assistant Manager Finance

The Assistant Manager Finance supervises the property's Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Cashier functions in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. Bar Back, AM & PM

Our bar backs are the right hands to our servers and bartenders. They ensure our dining room, bar and service areas are clean, sanitized, stocked and visually appealing. They assist our bartenders in clearing the bar top, cleaning/sanitizing the barware, and restocking glassware, plateware and inventory. 

Bartender, AM & PM

As the primary contact for guests in the bar, the Bartender will be a storyteller for Mattei's as a whole and culinary selections. The Bartender is responsible for selling, preparing & serving mixed beverages, wine and food.  Must be pleasant, conscientious and professional with an extensive knowledge of mixology product and alcoholic beverage selections. 

In-Room Dining Server, AM & PM

As the primary point of contact for guest interactions in the rooms, the In-Room Dining Server is responsible for selling, serving food & beverages using their knowledge, authentic hospitality and service skills. Must be pleasant, conscientious and professional with knowledge of culinary technique, wine and spirits, and proper service standards. Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, ensure smooth service operations and quality service.

Servers, Restaurants and Bars/AM & PM

As the primary point of contact for guest interactions in food and beverage outlets, the Server is responsible for selling, serving food & beverages using their knowledge, authentic hospitality and service skills. Must be pleasant, conscientious and professional with excellent knowledge of culinary technique, wine and spirits, and proper service standards. Banquet Bartender

Bartenders, or Mixologists, mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and balancing cash receipts to record sales.

Banquet Server

Barista

The Inn at Mattei's Tavern is seeking full and part time baristas who's role will also include cashier and serving duties. This position builds the Mattei's Experience for our guests by providing timely, warm and friendly service, as well as preparing quality beverages and products. 

Food & Beverage Manager

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for ensuring visitors to the hotel are delighted by the quality, creativity and variety of our food and beverage offerings, and our culinary reputation is second to none in our local market.

Food & Beverage Supervisor

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the guest experience is memorable and seamless; monitoring restaurant reservations and activity to determine proper seating and dining flow; responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of all food and beverage outlets and will help provide coverage in service gaps as needed. Other duties are assigned.

Food Runner

The restaurant food runner is imperative to the restaurant operation. The food runner will be responsible for graciously delivering food to tables and assisting the kitchen in set-up and breakdown of the runner station within the restaurant. This individual will be responsible for the extensive knowledge of the food menu. The food runner will constantly be in communication with the service team, management, and culinary team.

Host/Hostess

Work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide a dining experience to guests which distinguishes our restaurant as being the unquestionable first-choice. Demonstrate exceptional hospitality and guest service at our busy welcome desk. Manage phones and reservations, strategic seating of guests, addressing guest desires with positive semantics and a commitment to accommodate requests.

Lead Sommelier

The Lead Sommelier is responsible for assisting in the curation of restaurant wine lists in collaboration with the Tavern General Manager and Wine Director. The Lead Sommelier will help manage the beverage team, maintain an accurate list, manage inventory, organize the cellar and work with the restaurant management team to ensure wine service and list are to Mattei's and Auberge Resorts Collection standards.

Maitre d'

The Maitre d' is a key position and imperative to driving business into the restaurant. The Maitre d' is responsible for coordinating and managing all reservations, dining room seating, guest assistance, and the flow of guests in and out of the restaurant. Hospitality and communication skills are necessary. The Maitre d' is ultimately responsible for managing all aspects of the front door, guest arrival, seating and departure, host training, and operational procedures. The Maitre d' will ensure that all Hosts deliver attentive, courteous and efficient service to guests throughout service, in accordance with Auberge standards.  Our ideal candidate has considerable prior experience in high-end food service environments, an impeccable demeanor, customer service skills par excellence and logistical and organizational acumen.

Pool Bartender

The pool bartender is responsible for creating cocktails in a timely manner with proper technical skill. As the primary contact for guests in the bar, the Bartender will be a storyteller for Mattei's as a whole and culinary selections. The ideal candidate will perform tasks in an energetic, professional manner. Duties include preparing and serving beverages, overseeing bar maintenance, making menu suggestions, delivering food & drinks, describing the dishes to guests, recommending wine selections, monitoring guest satisfaction and managing inventory. It is imperative that the bartender is team oriented, pleasant, conscientious and professional with an extensive knowledge of mixology product and alcoholic beverage selections. Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, have attention to detail, ensure smooth service operations and quality service.

Pool Server

Pool Servers needed at the Inn at Mattei's Tavern. Mattei's Tavern is a wine-centric, ranch inspired gathering place, celebrating local farmers, ranchers and fishermen. Mattei's is looking for motivated pool servers to join our diverse and talented team. As the primary point of contact for guest interactions at the pool, the Server is responsible for selling, serving food & beverages using their knowledge, authentic hospitality and service skills. Must be pleasant, conscientious and professional with excellent knowledge of culinary technique, wine and spirits, and proper service standards. Pool Server Assistant

At the Inn at Mattei's Tavern, our goal is to offer the highest level of guest experience according to our Sequence of Service. The Server Assistant/Busser works alongside the Pool Server of the section and is responsible for getting everything to and from the tables/cabanas/lounge chairs, accurately, quickly and gracefully. They assist in the control of the information flow into the kitchen and the timing of dishes out to the pool and bar. They must be able to see the section and the pool as a whole and move around their team to accomplish the best service.

Server Assistant/Busser

The Server Assistant/Busser works alongside the Server of the section and is responsible for getting everything to and from the tables, accurately, quickly and gracefully. They assist in the control of the information flow into the kitchen and the timing of dishes out to the dining room. They must be able to see the section and the restaurant as a whole and move around their team to accomplish the best service. 

Guest Relations

Bell Attendant

The Bell Attendant provides exceptional service and a warm welcome to all on and off property guests who approach the arrival area. Each Bell Attendant will greet guests and provide gracious hospitality and prompt guest service with regards but not limited to; valet service, luggage service and property information. 

Front Office Supervisor

The Front Office Supervisor reports directly to the Front Office Management Team and is responsible for assisting the Front Office Management Team in leading the Front Office and overseeing all guest experiences within the department.

Part-Time Night Auditor

The Part-Time Night Auditor will be responsible for performing the established close of day functions for hotel and F&B operations. Represents the management in the absence of an M.O.D. during the hours of duty. Part-Time Night Auditor Position will start in January.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping Supervisor

The housekeeping Supervisors are responsible for serving the needs of the business and our guests by ensuring the cleanliness of our guest rooms as assigned in a timely and thorough manner, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.

Houseperson

The Houseperson is responsible for assisting room attendants through the distribution of supplies throughout property. Housepersons are also responsible for responding to guest requests for amenities/services and inventory stocking.

Public Area Attendant

Our Public Area Attendant is responsible for serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring all public areas are kept clean and neat for the enjoyment of our guests and team members.  Join our team and become one of the authors of our story. 

Room Attendant

Our Room Attendants are responsible for serving the needs of the business and our guests by ensuring the cleanliness of our guest rooms as assigned in a timely and thorough manner, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.

Turndown Attendant

Our Turndown Attendants are responsible for providing evening turndown service and the cleaning of guest rooms while ensuring the Resort's established standards of cleanliness.

Property Operations and Maintenance

Onsite IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for all technology operations for the entire resort. With guidance and support from the Regional Director of Technology and Auberge Home Office, She/He/They will lead IT budgeting, procurement, installation, configuration, maintenance and support. The IT Manager will oversee all aspects of the property technology infrastructure and its security. This position is an onsite position located in Los Olivos, CA.

Spa

Massage Therapist

The Massage Therapist position will provide exceptional massage and spa treatments with the highest levels of professionalism, a customized approach and over-the-top-hospitality to guests of the Spa. Your role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Spa Coordinator

The Spa Coordinator provides an exceptional environment in spa, fitness and retail to enhance the guests visit. Schedules treatments, meet and greet guests, sell merchandise and check on fitness areas.
