The Clinic Marketing Specialist position will be responsible for working with veterinary clinics across the country on developing marketing campaigns and marketing support services exclusive to their clinic that will increase revenue and business visibility. These duties will involve recommending and creating marketing collateral items, promotional programs and consulting on interactive properties, such as website development and e-mails, with clinic specific branding. The position will also work alongside various internal departments to develop and communicate the implementation of new projects as well as provide support to our sales force.
Position assists our Capital Equipment Sales Team in the Sun Prairie, WI office. The candidate must have strong computer skills, and experience in marketing and ecommerce. Experience and knowledge of the veterinary industry preferred.

The Marketing Specialist position will be responsible for managing a variety of marketing assignments within the designated business unit. This role provides marketing communication between manufacturer accounts for Midwest Veterinary Supply corporate office and the sales team. Primary duties include partnering with assigned high level rebate vendors to increase visibility of their product line and maximize growth potential including managing marketing relationship with vendor partners including budgets, customized product launches, exclusives, promotions and sales incentive development. The position will work alongside various internal departments while providing support to the Business Unit Director to develop and communicate implementation of projects, promotions and spiff incentives.
Work as part of a team to manage the daily operations of Midwest Veterinary Supply's online store platforms. Field questions regarding the operation of the online stores from customers, sales representatives and clients of clinics. Coordinate with support team to respond to inquiries from clinics that are interested in an online store. Document key clinic interactions using the designated system. Work with administrator and team members to document system errors, user problems and clinic feature requests.
Develop and execute marketing collateral pertaining to MyVetStoreOnline, MyEquineStoreOnline, and MyPharmStoreOnline. Collaborate with the Midwest Marketing Team and the Online Store Support Team to provide marketing support for sales reps, veterinary practices and their clients. Work with the Midwest Business Unit Marketing Specialist and the Online Store Coordinator and Product Manager to coordinate vendor marketing opportunities through the online stores. Facilitate creation of custom marketing materials for veterinary practices, which may include social media, brochures, email templates, banners, trinkets, etc. Strategize and schedule annual marketing campaigns to educate and assist our customer base.
Sell Midwest's Business & Practice Solutions to clinics. Qualify each clinic through pre-call planning and create customized Business & Practice Solutions offerings to fit each clinic's needs. Once the tools are in place, work with the clinics to grow their business by educating and training them on the use of Midwest's Business & Practice Solutions.
Maintain and grow sales of equine veterinary supplies to equine veterinary clinics, universities, and research facilities assigned to representative in a set geographic area. Share information with Inside Sales Representatives to maximize sales.
Using a hand-held scanner, pull the correct products listed on each order or sub-order from the bins indicated and place them on a cart or in a tote. When order/sub-order is complete, transfer the order to the designated area for further processing.
This position involves following the established receiving protocol standards which include verification of received orders for accuracy; processing relative product (and paperwork when necessary) quickly and efficiently to ensure prompt and accurate entry into the computer's inventory system via hand-held device; bar coding products when necessary and placement of products to the warehouse Bulk locations and/or shelves for picking.
Verify, pack and ship product as indicated on the clinic order and consistent with policies in the Employee Handbook, including the safety policies.
The primary objective of the Warehouse Manager is to ensure that customer service levels are high by minimizing shipping/receiving errors and making sure that orders are fulfilled within shipping cutoffs. The objective will be met by providing the tools, directives, and motivation to all positions within the Pulling, Shipping, and Receiving departments so that they function at maximum efficiency and represent the Company as it relates to corporate policies and procedures.
