Who We Are: Navatek is a world leader in designing and analyzing ship hull forms, ocean structures, underwater lifting bodies, and coupled hydrodynamic systems using its expertise in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and complex engineered systems. Founded in 1979 and operating out of offices in Honolulu, Hawaii and South Kingstown, Rhode Island, Navatek supports military, industry and academia.

What We Do: Our core strengths are complex Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) system simulations and design as well as Marine Systems Engineering and Integration. We design, build, and test at sea electro-mechanical systems operating in the harsh marine environment. Our expertise extends into Alternative Energy and several other unique scientific fields.

About Us: Navatek was founded to develop better ships. In the course of this work designing and building advanced craft with sophisticated control systems, Navatek has established significant capability in the disciplines related to the work. It is a subsidiary of privately-owned Pacific Marine, founded in 1944, with 450 employees and annual revenues of $85 million. Parent company Pacific Marine also owns Pacific Shipyards International LLC, the Hawaii’s largest commercial ship repair company.
