We are currently seeking a highly experienced Millwright/Welder to join our Maintenance team. At AERP we take medium truck tires and process them into a saleable rubber product. We do this using a variety of mechanical shredding, rasping, and grinding machines. As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of these machines.

Applicants that possess several years of equipment maintenance and repair experience, take pride in their workmanship, have a positive attitude, are committed to safety and self-motivated, will be given extra consideration.


The challenges we have for you:
  • Assembly and installation of equipment and verification of proper operation.
  • Timely troubleshooting and repair of equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform various welding techniques
  • Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, and grinding
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor

The skills we are looking for:
  • Mechanically inclined with an ability to install, maintain, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Proven welding experience
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to work safety and maintain a safe working environment
  • Problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
  • A motivated, reliable, and punctual self-starter
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Journeymen Millwright certification is an asset, but not required
  • Journeyman Welder certification is an asset, but not required
  • Aerial work platform and fall protection training would be considered an asset.
