We are currently looking for a Millwright to join our maintenance team. At AERP we take medium truck tires and process them into a saleable rubber product. We do this using a variety of mechanical shredding, rasping, and grinding machines. As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of these machines under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Applicants that possess several years of equipment maintenance and repair experience, take pride in their workmanship, have a positive attitude, are committed to safety and self motivated, will be given extra consideration.


The challenges we have for you:
  • Assembly and installation of equipment and verification of proper operation.
  • Timely troubleshooting and repair of equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Work collaboratively with other maintenance and production staff to prioritize equipment needs and repair.
  • Immediately report any concerns or issues directly to Supervisor.

The skills we are looking for:
  • Mechanically inclined with an ability to install, maintain, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Understand fitting bearings, aligning gears and shafts, attaching motors, and connecting couplings and belts to precise tolerances.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management abilities.
  • General awareness of facility risks and hazards.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and work with limited supervision.
  • Confident, resourceful, and highly motivated.
  • Possess a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Journeymen Millwright certification
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience working on milling/grinding/shredding equipment
  • Aerial work platform and fall protection training would be considered an asset
