To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking highly motivated, energetic, and safety-oriented temporary Labourer(s) to join our team. This is a great opportunity for students looking for summer work.
Full time Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and sort tires
- General facility housekeeping
- Adhere to all Alberta Environmental Rubber Products (AERP) Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
- Control traffic near, in or around work area
- Clean work area to eliminate possible hazards
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, of equipment or materials
- Manually heavy lift materials to assist in loading/ unloading and stocking of material
- Spot trucks and heavy equipment
- Responsible for yard maintenance and cleanup including mowing grass and reducing weeds
- Use any hand tools, yard tools and lawn/gardening tools that may be required for tasks
- Exercising good customer service while dealing with the public
- Complete Pre-Job Hazard Assessments and Equipment Pre-Use Inspections
- Other general labour duties as required

Education and Experience
- 1 year outside heavy Labour experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to perform physical repetitive tasks with the ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Previous experience working in the industrial industry is considered a strong asset
