The Information Technology Manager under direction of the Executive Vice President, leads the activities of the IT staff including ERP, CRM, EDI, infrastructure management, user support management, and software development. Develops leadership abilities of the IT management team. Possesses strong analytical abilities, ability to comprehend departmental work flows throughout the Company with the goal of best utilizing and adapting the software and driving procedural changes as warranted. Dynamic leader who can manage multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively utilize both internal resources and external technology partners for optimum productivity. Flexible and takes a collaborative approach to decision-making. Builds collaborative working relationships through the Company.
Operating environment consists of PCs and Macs, iPads and iPhones, servers include both physical and VMware virtual machines running Microsoft Windows and Linux, mainframe runs Open VMS on clustered HP Alpha processors; networking with current generation Cisco switches; email and document is provided by Google Workspace.
Software environment includes Aptean Industrial Enterprise Resource Planning - Workwise Edition, Aptean CRM, ForecastPro, ProShip, Distribution Architects International (DAI), SQL, Servers and SSRS, Windows, Open VMS, Google Gsuite, Microsoft Office, and GitHub.
Development environment utilizes DBL, .NET (VB, C#, ASP), Pascal, C, DCL, MVC, SQL, VS TFS, Javascript, JQuery, Razor, Lucene, RMS, SSIS, DTS, ASP, Restful Web Services, DEVExpress, Attunity, VBScript, DOS, JSon, XML, HTML, CSS3, and MS Office.
Self-starter with patience, persistence, and extreme accuracy; technical and mechanical proficiency and high emphasis on leadership, collaboration, communication. Ability to manage multiple internal and external resources and priorities. Four year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, or Business and a minimum of seven years related experience, to include supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
