Quality Control Supervisor leads the activities of the Quality Control (QC) team, which includes evaluating product quality of inventory items, providing internal product support and training to Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service departments, and training and leadership to QC Technicians.

Proficient in item testing and evaluation methods to ensure all products meet Company-defined standards and customer specifications. Interfaces with external vendors and represents the Company in a professional manner. Recommends changes to testing methods and product specifications as warranted, and stays current on industry standards and may assist in periodic vendor evaluations and audits.

Possesses strong communication skills, and an analytical and inquisitive mind. Effective at problem-solving with a strong technical orientation. Flexible, and takes a collaborative approach to decision-making. Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality, directs effort to provide customers with certifications, specifications, MSDS forms, and other regulatory information. 

Associate's degree in Quality, Business, Supply Chain, or other technical degree, and minimum of three years related experience, to include supervision; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
