Perform tasks involving telecommunications installation both inside and outside government buildings at various construction projects. Work may be performed both indoors and outside. Applicant needs to be proficient at cat6 installation at a minimum, fiber experience is a plus.

Typical Duties
- Placing, Testing, and Termination of ISP and OSP Fiber and CAT6a
- must be able to obtain base access.
- must have dependable transportation to and from work.
- prefer installer to have basic hand tools.
- Load, unload, and identify comm materials, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
- Perform additional assignments as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in Telecommunication Installation. One to five years minimum hands-on experience placing, testing, and terminating Cat6 and Fiber. Knowledge of related machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. OSHA knowledge and understanding of safety requirements.
