Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer, the Marketing Specialist will support the implementation of the marketing and communications plans and will be expected to coordinate day-to-day activities. The marketing specialist is expected to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and serve as backup to other members of the marketing team as needed. Candidates must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, committed to excellence in the workplace, and have outstanding organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Coordinate CE credit tracking and submissions, including managing relevant documentation and liaising with vendors, attorneys and event organizers.
  • Maintain and manage inventory for the firm’s branded merchandise ("swag") store, including fulfilling orders, restocking items, and tracking usage.
  • Support new hire marketing orientation, ensuring attorneys and staff are onboarded with proper bios, headshots, templates, and marketing resources.
  • Perform routine website maintenance, including updating pages, fixing broken links, and ensuring accuracy of content across the firm’s intranet, attorney bios, practice pages, and news items.
  • Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including internal communication, website updates, social media, email newsletters, and blogs.
  • Coordinate and post client alerts, announcements and other updates for distribution by email and to the website.
  • Develop and maintain mailing lists, contact lists, and client profiles using the firm's database and CRM.
  • Own, create and manage submissions to key award and ranking organizations, surveys, directories, and similar, such as Best Lawyers, Legal 500, Law360, etc. This includes outreach to lawyers for planning, drafting, submitting, and internal and external reporting/announcement.
  • Manage the firm’s tickets assets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Experience/Qualifications: 
  • A Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. 
  • Knowledge of corporate communications, marketing principles, and digital marketing concepts.
  • Familiarity with relevant marketing technology tools, as well as law firm rankings, awards, and publications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly competitive and demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail to produce accurate, timely and complete work product.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to make sound decisions.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. A bonus if the candidate has experience using Canva and Monday.com.
  • A candidate with graphic design and/or video production skills is a plus.
  • Legal marketing and law firm experience is preferred but is not a required

Salary Range - $60,000 - $70,000
