Position Summary
The Final Operations Operator I cleans, inspects, preserves, and packages of all weapons and components.
Job Duties
Cleaning
- Breakdowns, cleans, and installs swivels on light and heavy weapons and components for one or more product lines in accordance with appropriate Operational Control Sheet(OCS).
- Maintains flow rate to support daily demand.
- Inspect all Military and Commercial weapons.
- Preserves weapons and components.
- Maintains 5S in the work area.
Packaging
- Identifies workload available in the PACK Queue.
- Inspects the units available to PACK and verify part number(p/n) and quantity to the router.
- Identifies OCS associated with p/n. Reviews OCS/OS sheet, E3238 Packaging Instructions, and Router Pick List for specifications to determine packaging sequence and packing requirements of all products and components.
- Conducts a product changeover check before packing new routers.
- Interprets basic drawings and process sheets to determine work to be done. Identifies overpack, cleaning instructions, and packaging instructions.
- Disassembles, cleans, and packs to OCS, the contractual E3238 Packing Instructions, and router specifications.
- Preserves weapons and components.
Educational Requirements
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Experience Requirements
None required.

- Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals. Knowledge of basic measuring.

Working Conditions
Typical manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises and dangerous chemicals and machinery. Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds unassisted.
