Position Overview of Marketing Operations Manager: 
Clarus Direct is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join our Operations team. This role will support our direct-to-consumer business by optimizing marketing technology and operational processes to drive efficiency and growth. The Marketing Operations Manager will manage key platforms within our MarTech stack, oversee vendor partnerships, and support data-driven marketing through scalable processes and integrations.

Duties and Responsibilities of Marketing Operations Manager: 

  • Manage and optimize marketing systems that support the Clarus Direct business.
  • Execute and support the technical setup of marketing campaigns, including email campaign configuration, template implementation, and HTML updates as needed.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for key marketing technology platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational and system-related issues impacting marketing programs and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-enabled tools and solutions that enhance marketing operations, insights, and team productivity.
  • Manage and support integrations across the marketing technology stack.
  • Evaluate and implement new marketing technologies and enhancements, assessing their impact on efficiency, performance, and scalability.

Skills and Experience of Marketing Operations Manager: 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, sales operations, or a related MarTech-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms such as tag management systems, experimentation tools, CRM platforms, ad servers, or similar marketing technologies.
  • Comfortable operating across both strategy and execution, from identifying opportunities to implementing solutions.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to support marketing implementations.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is $80k-$90k. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
