CEDENT- IaaS Engineer (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using AWS, Ansible, Python, and shell scripting (Bash/Python).
Contribute to OpenStack migration efforts, ensuring a seamless transition.
Maintain and optimize UCS hardware, ensuring infrastructure reliability and performance.
Administer Linux-based systems, leveraging experience with certified Linux environments (RHCSA, RHCE preferred).
Develop and deploy automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for the new OpenStack environment.

Must-Have Skills

Automation & IaC Expertise – Strong experience with AWS, Ansible, Python, and shell scripting (Bash/Python) to build infrastructure automation solutions.
UCS Hardware Maintenance – Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS hardware, including troubleshooting and optimization.
Linux Administration – Prior experience working in Linux environments, preferably with RHCSA or RHCE certification.
OpenStack Experience – Proven experience working with OpenStack for cloud infrastructure.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Prior experience with infrastructure migrations.
Strong problem-solving skills in cloud infrastructure management.

Compensation
Hourly Rate Range - $40-$60/ hr
