Must Have Skills
- 5-7 years of professional experience, ideally in an enterprise environment handling high-volume tickets and incidents
- Experience as an engineer resolving Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 tickets
- Strong platform support experience, specifically within Linux
- Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or PowerShell)
- Experience tracking tickets in JIRA and maintaining proper documentation
- Kubernetes OR strong automation experience (Python, Ansible)
- Mentorship and training experience
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience working in Cloud Native environments
- Telecom industry experience
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support critical applications, responding to incidents and resolving Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets
- Manage, monitor, and optimize Linux servers for high performance and reliability
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes
- Automate processes using scripting languages (Shell, Python, PowerShell)
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Maintain system monitoring solutions and analyze logs for performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless deployment and operations
- Provide mentorship and training to team members on DevOps best practices
