The AMSL will be responsible for facilitating the clinical and scientific exchange with health care professionals (HCP’s). The incumbent will benefit from a knowledge of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH), Pulmonary Hypertension associated with Interstitial Lung disease (PH-ILD) and the HCP’s involved in its management. In this role, the AMSL will be a key player in the education and support of community key clinical staff regarding product information and administration. You will create, lead, and implement Clinical Education strategies focused on PAH and PH-ILD and provide disease and product education to community practices, hospitals, health care providers, pharmacies, and patients.

- Create awareness of client and YUTREPIA in the PAH/PH-ILD communities
- Address Critical Knowledge Gaps: AMSL’s focus on educating Physicians and nurses who are crucial in managing PAH/PH-ILD patients using therapies like nebulizers, and dry powder inhalers.
- Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration: AMSL bridge knowledge exchange between physicians, nurses, and other providers, ensuring seamless patient care in PAH/PH-ILD
- Serve as a local medical/scientific resource for the medical community in PAH and PH-ILD
- Develop a deep understanding of the current PAH literature and provide presentations to a broad variety of PAH/PH-ILD stakeholders in the community.
- Attend national/regional conferences on client’s behalf to provide feedback on current landscape, competitive landscape, and continued cultivation of relationships; primary objective to disseminate medical/scientific information regarding YUTREPIA.
- Gather and disseminate medical insights and competitive intelligence, collaborate cross functionally with Marketing/Commercial and Payor Insights teams.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of a prioritized list of external community KOL’s/clinicians based on the evolving landscape.
- Provide support from the community for clinical trial development, recruitment, and site engagement.
- Develop the identification of stakeholders for medical initiatives (e.g., advisory boards), engagements.
- Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, projects, and other required documentation.
- Create effective ongoing partnerships with corporate medical affairs, clinical development, and other cross-functional partners.
- Successfully operate in a matrix environment that provides value to multiple internal stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively and compliantly with health care providers and internal cross functional teams to deliver a positive educational experience for patients.
- Educate patients on appropriate tools for disease management and adherence as well as answering any targeted questions from patients. (e.g., adverse effects, expected outcomes) using approved resources.
- Support local patient educational programs by compliantly coordinating with other internal customer-facing teams (e.g., patient advocacy group meetings).
- Minimum bachelor’s degree
- RN, NP or PA, Respiratory Therapist, PharmD, or other related health care degrees
- 5 plus years of respiratory experience, preference to interstitial lung disease (ILD) and/or pulmonary hypertension (PH)
- Experience collaborating and working cross functionally
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interpret and present clinical information to groups of all sizes
- Up to 60% domestic travel
- Clinical degree, an advanced degree is considered an asset
- Clinical experience in utilization of inhaled devices and IV/SC pumps
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience an asset
