Overview:

client has asked us to help staff a temporary need on their team to cover during a paternity leave. This is a loan staff contractor, who will be working directly with our end client. Preferably location is NYC with flex hybrid schedule for 8 months starting in mid-September.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary coverage of Workday Finance (FINS) modules (not HCM).
  • Supporting multiple systems alongside existing client team.
  • Providing continuity during staggered leave coverage.
  • Knowledge transfer (KT) sessions before resource leaves

Qualifications:

  • Strong Workday Finance expertise with the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Experience across Workday Financial Management, including core functionalities like Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Procurement, Spend Management, Asset Management, Expenses, Revenue Management, and Analytics & Reporting.
  • Someone who can manage both strategic support and operational execution.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills to represent Grant Thornton while working directly with their end client.
  • A “STAR” performer and team player able to step into a high-visibility role.
  • Preferably New York–based resource who can work a hybrid-onsite schedule, remote with on-site travel also acceptable.

Compensation 
Hourly Rate Range - $40-$60/ hr
