Front End React Developer :: REMOTE (Alexandria, VA)

Front End React Developer

Location: 100% Remote, USA

Position Duration: Starting as 12-18-month contract position with intent to convert direct-hire. This is an ongoing need and is not attached to a specified end-date.

Must Have Skills:

·         4+ years of experience with React and NodeJS

·         Experience with Typescript

·         Experience writing API calls using Axios

·         Knowledge and AWS experience

·         SQS, EC2 (SQS is a must)

·         Experience/ knowledge of Docker container

Job Description:         

•          Write API calls end to end

•          Work with the team to translate UX team wireframes guidance into Views in React

•          Help manage projects through the design, development and QA.

•          Be part of a team that SAFE Agile methodologies

•          Work on NodeJS API layer

•          Oversees testing and develops fixes

•          Work on progressive redesign and maintenance projects that have an immediate impact on how our customers experience our brand every day

•          Develop new user-facing features

•          Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

•          Assure that all user input is validated before subm

•          Identifying blockers and applying creative solutions within company guidelines

•          Staying on top of current trends in web development
