Key skills:

1. Love learning about people: You’re interested or already comfortable in conducting fast paced user research to deeply understand users and their needs. Think mixed-methods research for both generative/discovery or evaluative phases from interviews, observations, focus groups, surveys, spending quality time digging out qualitative insights to testing concepts and hypothesis, validating designs for preferences and usability you love to incorporate the right technique for right outcomes.

2. Play with design tools: Figma is cool and our tool of choice for crafting impeccable design. This might be the right opportunity if you enjoy experimenting with design and prototyping tools for getting the fidelity just right. Bonus points if you love designing for immersive experiences AR, VR, MR and using tools such as Adobe Aero.

3. Collaborate with speed: instead of waiting for sprint to finish to handoff pixel perfect documentations to your team, you’d be excited about working closely with product and pair-designing-developing with engineering. You seek prompt feedback from your team and you iterate with lightning speed. You are open to trying out ideas, sharing a quick mockup with your engineering counterpart and evaluating in how it turns out in code on the spot.

As a Sr.. Product Designer,

  • youll help our customers live better by improving their web and mobile experiences.
  • Youll apply your expertise in interactive design, visual design, and prototyping and tap into your empathetic brain to solve complex ecommerce challenges.
  • You will liaise with partners in Product, Engineering and Analytics, and dedicate your teams collective creativity to delivering experiences that delight our customers.

  • Youll provide product with recommendations and make design decisions with minimal guidance, and jump into your role to make an immediate impact.

What You'll Need

  • A strong product design portfolio that demonstrates how you design to solve customer needs.
  • Excellent grasp of the design thinking and prototyping process, including product/interaction/visual, with the know-how to move from pencil on paper to layout to pixel-perfect handoff using tools such as Sketch, Invision, and Zeplin.
  • Stellar interaction skills (track record of deploying user interface standards and conventions, functional communication flows, dynamic engaging interfaces).
  • Stellar visual skill (attention to detail, stay on brand, build new patterns).
  • Deep understanding of design principals and industry trends.
  • Expert communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly present your work; you are articulate and can advocate design rationale.
  • Readily give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Expert partnering with cross functional teams in launching new products and improvements to existing features.
  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years designing for multiple platforms experience, with 3+ years as a senior visual and interaction designer or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working in and navigating a corporate environment independently.
  • Delivered successful design for responsive web, iOS and Android.
  • Experience building efficient scalable systems or in eCommerce.
  • Bachelors in Design, User Experience (UX), Human Computer Interaction, Mass Communications or related field.
