Configuration Management Lead
This is a flexible hybrid role (1-2 days per week in office) local to the financial district in Los Angeles. This Configuration Management Lead will join a program working to implement the IFS product suite as the Customer Service WFM system for a large Natural Gas Utility provider based in Los Angeles. Configuration Management Lead - Requirements:
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Hands on configuration management experience: IFS strongly preferred (SAP, Salesforce, Maximo, Click, or similar may be acceptable).
  • Software version control.
  • Code merge process.
  • OS and product upgrades.
  • Updates and patches.
  • Release deployment management.
  • Some C# development skills.
  • Cloud experience.
 
Nice to Have Skills:
  • IFS/Clevest configuration experience.
  • IFS MWM Office (Clevest workspace), IFS MWM Mobile (Clevest workbook).
  • IFS PSO.
  • Experience configuring work management/WFM systems.
  • Past leadership, mentorship, training experience.
Configuration Management Lead - Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point-of-contact for IFS throughout the implementation to act as a key liaison between organizations while building knowledge and expertise in the systems.
  • Provide document management support through implementation while holding vendor accountable releases and deployments.
  • Collaborate with other program and technology leaders internally to build partnerships and better understand the environment, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with program and technology leaders to help build the environment strategy including system and user configurations.
  • Establish and maintain processes for configuration managements.
  • Establish plans and process for product releases in a non-production environment.
  • Own configurations as the configuration manager, with primary focus on user configurations.
  • Conduct scripting within the system to customize system behaviors.
  • Own the release and deployment cycle.
  • Manage the integrity of the environment by refreshing or cleaning up data as needed.
