Job Title: IT Service Delivery Manager (Contract)

Location: Battle Creek, MI (on-site)

Contract Duration: ASAP - End of 2023 (possibility to extend)

Our client is seeking a mid-level IT Service Delivery Manager to join their dynamic team in Battle Creek, MI. This role is critical to the effective operational service management relationship between Business teams, Regional teams, and Global Sustainment.

Responsibilities:

Communication and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers (BRM) and IT groups to understand operational focus areas.

• Conduct regular touch points with BRMs, sustainment leaders, and business leads.

• Lead monthly operations meetings for the company's IT Leadership teams.

Incident and Problem Management:

• Minimize the number and impact of critical incidents.

• Serve as an escalation point for high-visibility incidents.

• Provide timely communication and follow up on resolution and return to normal operation.

Project Management:

• Proactively prepare the sustainment organization for upcoming projects.

• Oversee the proper transition to support post-deployment.

• Coordinate and assist with OCM efforts for company-driven projects.

Continuous Improvement:

• Lead monthly/bi-weekly collaboration sessions with team and sustainment leads.

• Participate in global sustainment initiatives.

• Collaborate with Regional Service Managers globally on continuous improvement efforts.

Reporting:

• Provide ad hoc reporting on IT tickets to BRMs.

• Ensure service delivery meets expectations of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Mid-level professional with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field.

• Proven experience in IT service delivery and project management. Familiarity with IT service delivery tools is a plus but not critical.

• Strong understanding of ITIL framework. Certifications such as ITIL or PMP would be beneficial but not required.

• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders effectively.
