Salesforce CPQ Developer (Raleigh, NC)

Reason for need:  Client is working on a large initiative centered around CPQ and Salesforce.  This will be a 6 month contract to start.  They are not requiring that people provide salary ranges, given that this is starting out as a contract; however, they would be open to converting strong candidates once the contract is over.  Please float conversion by any candidates that we speak with to see if they would be open to it (again – conversion is not a requirement).
Project Details: This position is within the Enterprise Systems supporting the Conga CLM & CPQ application within Salesforce platform. This role will lead a team that will support a CPQ system that will drive more than a billion dollars of revenue.
Must Have Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of Salesforce.com experience with hands on proven experience on Apex , Visualforce , Lightning Framework (Aura and LWC) , Data Migration using Data Loader , Declarative Platform tools (Flows , Lightning Builder etc.
• Minimum 2 project / 1+ years of hands on experience with X-Author
• Hands-on Experience in building and updating complex X-Author Excel & word templates
• Hands-on Experience integrating through Apttus (Conga) CPQ APIs
• Ability to convert small business problem statements into Excel based solution with X-Author for Excel with minimal supervision
• Understanding of product configuration management: products, bundles, inclusion rules, recommendation rules, constraint rules
• Understanding of Pricing management: Price dimensions, price rulesets, pricing callback class, validation callback class

Day to day responsibilities: 

• This person will be supporting a high visibility project so the below are key responsibilities of a successful team member in this role:
  • Knowledge transfer to full-time team members at this client.  Additionally, knowledge transfer in the form of consultative suggestions from past experience in this space
  • Ability to work in agile environment and flexible to changes in approach when solutioning
  • Ability to convert small business problem statements into product based deliverable/s with minimal supervision
  • Independently work with business analysts or end users to gather and analyze business requirements from technical standpoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working in an Agile environment
