CEDENT- Network Engineer(SevOne) ()

Work Location: Remote 9-5pm EST

Contract: long term

Project Details:

Team manages applications for clients using SevOne (owned by IBM) (internal tools, 45 instances in production) – large scale systems. Gathers all data from network devices. Needs someone who helps to manage apps, support and upgrades.

Must Have Skills:

5+ years experience as Network/Systems Engineer
Experience with SevOne from an administration standpoint
Understanding and usage of the SNMP Protocol, MIBs and OIDs
Well-versed in Linux environments scripting (shell/python) debugging/support

Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science or related field – highly preferred

Day to day responsibilities:

Providing access to new users for apps
Support of tools - Network Management Systems
Creating tickets, add new devices, delete them, decommissioning, Maintaining, and monitoring connectivity
Support Internal SevOne Users
Monitor SevOne and gather data
Reporting
