Required Qualifications/Skills
- Senior BSA with 10+ years experience
- Strong working knowledge and experience with mainframe systems
- Cloud expertise and experience with AWS development
- Experience replatforming mainframe systems into AWS with an understanding of the requirements necessary
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical requirements, and vise-versa
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong problem solving skills
- Detail oriented and organized
Plus Skills:
- SAP Experience – understanding of integration requirements
- Experience in Utilities or Oil and Gas
- Viso experience
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- A senior BSA is needed to support the replatforming of the Meter Data Management System from mainframe to AWS
- The role will involve acting as a liaison between SoCalGas and the System Integrator
- Will be expected to analyze and develop understanding of existing mainframe system architecture
- Translate mainframe capabilities into AWS requirements
- Collaborate with SI as you determine appropriate requirements for the replatforming into AWS and integration with CIS
- Maintain role as liaison to validate the work performed by the System Integrator
- May support additional projects that include other mainframe replatforming initiatives, SAP integrations, or other projects relevant to Gas Ops Systems and Technologies
