Responsibilities include: 

  • Required to regularly engage with the business to provide summary of discovery and the initial scope of what they are going to migrate – they have all program management and such and engineers but have a gap in product management/change management,
  • Must have a deep understanding of all people and players (cross functional teams) that will be involved and affected b this migration both on the business and IT side 
  • Will be responsible  for training the team on how to use the product (GCP) His team is very green here
  • 2-pronged approach - both training on which tools to use for the migration itself within GCP, and  what other capabilities that GCP can offer and how to leverage them
  • IT owned assets and business owned assets add a layer of complexity. For the IT owned assets there will only be minor changes, but for the business owned assets they do not have as much control, and level of quality control. Need to make sure the business assets are being handled as critically as the IT assets

Backgrounds to Target:

  • Program Management, Project Management, Enterprise Software Migration experience, Change Management experience 
  • Leaning towards someone who is very well organized and can communicate and translate across the company – business facing more than anything else with strong project management experience

Must Have Skills:

  • GCP
  • Snowflake
  • Alation
  • Enterprise software migration experience 
  • ETL Tools (Informatica and Alation) 
  • Experience working on large projects that require the above
