Summary
The Clinical Specialist (CS) is responsible for providing clinical customer support, managing site inventory, and supporting the commercialization of advanced mapping solutions. The CS works closely with Electrophysiologists, lab staff, and various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent healthcare experience required.
- Ability to become certified on Electrophysiology (EP) products.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cardiac pacing or related industry.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac electrophysiology procedures.
- Familiarity with cath lab and OR procedures.
- Proficiency in engineering principles to solve clinical problems.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills with an ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software for presentations and documentation.
- Must meet all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination or accommodations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level clinical support by managing site schedules, training, and inventory to ensure successful implementation of mapping solutions.
- Support the development and execution of commercialization and research efforts for mapping technologies.
- Collaborate with commercial, sales, and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) departments to enhance physician and hospital experiences.
- Partner with internal teams to refine workflows, address KOL needs, and provide product feedback.
- Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including physicians, lab staff, and administrative personnel.
- Manage multiple projects, initiatives, and undergo quarterly training to maintain expertise in the field.
