Compensation: The anticipated hourly rate for this position ranges from $29.00 to $39.00 per hour. The final pay rate may vary based on factors such as experience, expertise, certifications, and location.

Responsibilities: As part of our team, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and electrical discrepancies in various Ground Support Equipment (GSE) systems and subsystems
  • Perform repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls of components, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, and hydraulic systems
  • Disassemble components, conduct quality inspections, and reassemble them in compliance with engineering specifications
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to and promoting regulatory requirements, OSHA compliance, and EPA regulations
  • Maintain professional interactions with both internal and external customers.

Qualifications: Your qualifications and skills that matter for this role include:
  • A minimum of 3 years of service repair experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills. Experience with PLC and HVAC is advantageous
  • Proficiency in repairing and maintaining Mobile Heavy Equipment and related components (experience with diesel-powered vehicles is a plus)
  • Prior experience in GSE maintenance is beneficial
  • Basic knowledge and application of corrosion control using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Proficiency in using repair manuals, wiring (electrical) diagrams, and schematics (electrical and hydraulic) for troubleshooting and component rebuilding
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, push, pull, squat, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions and environments, including adverse weather conditions
  • Experience 

Additional Skills: Complementary skills that will enhance your performance include:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as you will interact with customers
  • Legal eligibility to work in Calgary, Alberta, and a minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, as you may be operating specialized equipment
  • The ability to obtain transportation security clearance through Transport Canada
