POSITION SUMMARY
The Station Manager is responsible for managing a maintenance station, performing equipment maintenance procedures on a fleet of Airport Ground Support Equipment and maintaining a high-quality of standard. Responsibilities also include close communication with multiple Customers to report on Equipment Status and coordinate work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned and are not limited to the following)
  • Manage a team of technicians, ensuring that their performance meets the company safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Manage the work schedule based on equipment availability and customer operational needs.
  • Ensure work area cleanliness, tool accountability, and appropriate shop.
  • Manage the Parts & Service Administrator and ensure that work is properly documented in the ERP system, this includes:
  • Managing purchasing to maintain stock levels.
  • Maintaining an inventory of spare parts.
  • Manage the relationship with the customer to ensure that work processes follow site safety and workflow guidelines.
  • Communicate Equipment status and repairs ETC to customer.
  • Keep the direct manager informed of all relevant activity, providing a high level of detail so the customer’s expectations can be managed and changes to the scope of work can be accounted for.
  • Create/Analyze site activity performance indicators and prepare corrective actions from these indicators.
  • Manage punctual projects related to the maintenance stations.
  • Other assignments as designated by Regional Service Manager.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent; 5+ years related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Robust leadership and team management skills, along with a proven dedication to safety.
  • Knowledge of GSE products is a plus.
  • Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) systems, preferably Hexagon EAM
  • Detail-oriented, strong sensitivity to deadlines, multitasking ability, strong organizational and problem-solving skills necessary.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Proficient computer skills required (Emails, Internet search, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Clear and decisive communication.
  • Rigorous, autonomous and customer focused.
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-changing work environment.
  • Familiar with aviation/aerospace environment and standards.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • No travel restrictions, may be required to travel occasionally, not exceeding 10% of working time.
