Coast to Coast Distribution. is membership-only retail warehouse focusing on convenience store member sales but open to the public. Coast to Coast Distribution sells most of its merchandise in bulk and directly off pallets. The storefront is arranged like a warehouse, with merchandise stocked in warehouse-style steel bins. Products sold include all consumer packaged goods (CPG Products) that you would find in a convenience store. Job Description:

Lift Truck Operators (certified, 1 year of exp. preferred)

Job highlights:

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
•    Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
•    In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
•    Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
•    Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
•    Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
•    Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
•    Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
•    Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, knives, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, six-wheel carts, balers, and other heavy machinery.
•    Ability to work in a wet and cold environment on occasion. 

Position Responsibilities:
  •   Efficiently managed incoming shipments, ensuring accurate recording and timely processing of inventory.
  • Performed thorough quality checks on received goods, identifying and reporting any discrepancies to vendors.
  • Maintain detailed receiving logs and documentation to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
  • Utilized warehouse management systems to update inventory levels and manage stock rotation.
  • Collaborated with purchasing and operations teams to resolve receiving issues and maintain smooth supply chain operations
  • Ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers, vendors, corporate and distribution partners, and team members always
  • All positions must be performed in accordance with team and store Standard Operating Procedures
  • Verify actual product against purchase orders and/or supplier paperwork and confirm product integrity.
  • Stamps, initials, processes, and files invoices.
  • Distributes invoice copies to appropriate teams when applicable.
  • Accurately closes purchase orders in the proprietary store purchasing application.
  • Adheres to and meets Receiving standards as outlined in Store Process
  • Distributes copies of processed paperwork to appropriate departments
  •  Follows up with vendors regarding accounts payable.
  • Supports product teams with accounting processes during inventory and financial period close.

Job Skills

•    Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers,             vendors, and Team Members.

•    Understanding of and compliance with WFM quality goals.

Experience
 • 12+ months working in a distribution or receiving related environment preferred.

What you'll do...

Maintains safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by using safety lifting techniques when assisting customers load and unload large items form their cart to their vehicle, conducting safety sweeps; following forklift spotting procedures; following procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials;  and correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management.
