Job purpose
Comec is looking to add to our growing warehouse staff. We are looking for individuals that can work with our client in their warehouse on site. The position would be working hand in hand with the client daily, as well as working with them on other warehousing duties as needed. We are looking for a general warehouse Tech with experience with shipping and receiving.
The position is a 7 on and 7 off shift. Camp work, 80 hours per shift. OT eligible with approval.

- SAP knowledge
- Warehousing or procurement background
- Forklift experience.
- Insulation back ground or insulation procurement an asset.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work with front desk filling material requests.
- Material storage and procurement.
- Daily issue of material to trade craft as needed.
- Material tracking and data entry as required.
- Order picking and staging.
- Inventory management.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Experience:
- The client uses SAP on site. experience is an asset
- Warehousing or procurement back ground.
- Forklift experience.
- Knowledge of Insulation materials and/or procurement experience an asset
- H2S, WHIMS, first aid, CSO, TDG, site orientations. Any specific training in regards to insulation, warehousing or SAP are an asset.

- Safety Certification
- H2S Alive, 1st Aid, TDG, WHMIS mandatory
- Fork lift/bobcat/zoom boom tickets
- Any client specific required courses
- Other courses as deemed necessary
Working conditions
- Able and willing to work long hours
- Able to repeatedly lift and load supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in northern Alberta weather conditions if required.
