The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at the Adult Detention Center. In this role, the RN will be responsible for developing, initiating, and coordinating individualized patient care plans. This includes performing comprehensive assessments, planning and implementing care strategies, and evaluating patient outcomes—all in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The RN will ensure that care is provided in accordance with agency policies and in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Minimum qualifications include: graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; active licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia; minimum of one year of clinical experience; must obtain/maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.
The salary range is $63,127 – $79,188 based on experience and qualifications. A robust benefits package is also included, as outlined below. This position has a start date of July 1, 2025.
