 is a specialty subcontractor headquartered in Springfield, OR, United States, focusing on rock drilling, blasting, and crushing operations, alongside the operation of rock quarries for retail sales of construction aggregates. Our drilling operations span multiple states and cater to diverse sectors, including utility-scale renewable energy (wind and solar foundation pile pre-drilling), data center and warehouse development (foundation and utility drilling and blasting), and surface mine drilling and blasting. Additionally, our portable crushing division produces crushed quarry aggregate for use as base rock in construction projects, with our retail quarry operations offering these materials for sale to the general public. 

Position Overview
This role will play a key part of the company’s day-to-day inventory operations and handling of materials in an industrial shop and yard setting. Responsibilities include unloading, staging, securing, and organizing heavy materials, as well as conducting regular cycle counts. Additionally, this role supports the overall organization and cleanliness of the shop, yard, and inventory storage locations. areas, while navigating the demands of a physically intensive, industrial environment.


Preferred candidates will have experience in material handling, familiarity with shop or warehouse environments, and a strong work ethic. Compensation
  • Wage Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Schedule
  • Standard Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 5:00pm.
  • Work Location: Company Headquarters in Springfield, OR

Job Requirements/Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience with warehouse/inventory activities preferred.
  • Basic Mechanical Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical tools and shop operations, with an understanding of general safety and handling around industrial equipment.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment on a regular basis.
  • Driver License: Valid Oregon driver’s license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 moving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 3 years and no DUIIs.
  • Pre-employment Requirement: Pre-employment drug test and physical. We conduct random drug tests and post-accident drug testing. For safety reasons, we have a zero-tolerance drug policy, including marijuana use.

Physical Demands
  • Carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling loads up to 50 pounds in a physical environment on a regular basis.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching during work activities.
  • Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, in a yard setting.
  • Exposure to varying environmental conditions, as the position requires both indoor and outdoor work, which may include extreme weather such as heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow.
  • Climbing ladders and stairs and working in tight or elevated spaces as needed.

Job Responsibilites
  • Material Handling: Safely handles loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, transporting, and securing inventory materials.
  • Organization: Assists in maintaining organization, cleanliness, and safety in the shop, yard, and inventory locations.
  • Cycle Counts: Conducts regular cycle counts and accurately records inventory transactions.
  • Supply Distribution: Distributes supplies to customers based on daily pick tickets.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Executes receipt transactions for all inbound freight.
  • Space Utilization: Optimizes space utilization for material storage.
  • Inventory Control Process Collaboration: Collaborates with the Supply Chain Manager to enhance warehouse and inventory control processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Product Support department.
