Elements Financial is seeking a progressive Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our enterprise-wide technology strategy and execution. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will drive innovation, enable digital transformation, and ensure technology is a powerful enabler of our credit union’s business goals. The CIO will be an essential addition to the credit union, partnering with peers to formulate, implement, and communicate the strategic direction and vision for both internal and external members.
The CIO is responsible for the establishment and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and ensures its integration with the enterprise’s business strategy. They are also responsible for the delivery of all information and technology capabilities required to achieve successful business performance. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CIO participates in and contributes to the overall enterprise business model, operating model, and business strategy development. The CIO brings current knowledge and future vision of leveraging information and technology in business model design, product and service development, and support for developing competitive advantage.
Areas of specific accountability currently include responsibility for Managed Services Partner (for infrastructure and cybersecurity services), several strategic cloud-based partners within an outsourced operating model, and maintaining our high-performing, high-impact technology teams. This role includes ultimate oversight of IT infrastructure and operations, application development, in-house IT support desk, Project Management Office, product specific and data & analytics teams.
A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years experience in Architecture, IT infrastructure, Solution Development, Data Management, and Project Management with demonstrated increasing levels of leadership experience as an executive managing high-performing teams is required. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills are essential in this role, with a focus on digital excellence and overall business acumen to lead the organization’s technology footprint beyond its current business model.
