Company Description:

Lotus Behavioral Health is renewing and restoring wholeness to individuals and their families impacted by substance abuse and mental health disorders. We achieve this through providing thorough substance abuse and mental health assessments, Individualized Treatment, and Family involvement.  Outpatient and intensive outpatient therapy services are available for adults and levels of care for adolescents range from Residential treatment through outpatient treatment.

EDUCATION
  • Master's level graduate degree
  • Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment: 2 years (preferred)
  • License/Certification: LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT License in Florida. (Required)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides evidenced-based individual, family, and group therapy to assigned patients following program curriculum provided by Clinical Director
  • Provide excellent individual, family and group therapy to assigned patients through use of evidence-based practices (CBT, ME, TFCBT, SFT, DBT etc.)
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA compliance
  • Maintain all required licenses, certifications and professional liability insurance
  • Formulate both MH and SA disorder diagnosis using DSM-5
  • Effectively uses therapeutic interventions to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plan goals and objectives to successfully complete treatment
  • Effectively prepare patient for maintaining sobriety post treatment
  • Demonstrates sufficient comprehension of Co-Occurring Disorders and effective treatment approaches
  • Effectively uses therapeutic interventions to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plans, goals, and objectives and successfully complete treatment
  • Maintain referent contact weekly or as required by Clinical Director
  • Consistently identifies areas for improvement within the department by studying data and developing, implementing and documenting plans for improvement and outcomes
  • Maintains positive and collaborative relationships with all staff
  • Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews
  • Maintains healthy boundaries with patients and staff
  • Asks for and accepts feedback from supervisors
  • Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients
  • Communicates significant patient developments to supervisor
  • Participates in Quality Improvement activities and contributes to the success of the organization
  • Pursues professional development through participation in education and training programs
  • Contributes positively to the morale of other staff
  • Complete all required documentation ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulations, , Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria. This includes the following documents:
