Copywriter (Asheville, NC)

We are looking for a Copywriter to join our team of employee-owners at Life’s Abundance as we expand in the South Slope district of Asheville! Responsibilities include

• Producing written materials in various formats, including print, digital and web, social, video script, broadcast, blog, and conceptual write-ups that reflect the company’s voice and tone

• Working closely with internal teams to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development to execution

• Writing attention-grabbing headlines, compelling calls to action, and engaging marketing copy that aligns with our brand's voice and objectives

• Collaborating with the marketing team to conceptualize and implement compelling marketing strategies and promos

• Producing well-researched content for customer engagement, brand awareness, and sales conversion

• Editing and proofreading copy to ensure clarity, grammar, and accuracy

• Analyzing and adapting content based on analytics and SEO trends to maximize effectiveness.

• Staying on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and outside resources

• Acting as liaison with external blog contributors

Our Marketing Department is looking for an in-person team member at our office in Ashville to entice people to engage with the company by creating compelling, on-brand content to support various objectives. What will make you successful

• 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the health/wellness or lifestyle area, with a strong portfolio of written work.

•  A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field is a plus

• Ability to craft writing for various mediums that breathes life into healthy living for both people and pets- copy that engages and gets them to lean in and take action

• Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce written materials in a variety of formats, including print, digital and web, social, video script, broadcast, blog, and conceptual write-ups that reflect the company’s voice and tone

• Snappy headlines and social content that includes SEO language

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication

• Strategic thinker with the ability to connect content to larger business objectives.

• Ability to manage and work with multiple projects at various stages of development

• Interest in consumer engagement trends and ability to apply creativity to marketing strategy

• Outgoing, hands-on, and proactive in nature with the ability to meet deadlines

• Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or similar Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with Asana project management, or willingness to learn it
