Responsibilities include
-
Assist with maintaining general ledger accounts, records, and financial reports in Dynamics GP and QuickBooks.
-
Prepare and post adjusting journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations, fixed asset reconciliation, and assisting with monthly close processes.

Assist in the review and preparation of financial statements and periodic Review and Audits with outside accounting firms.

Perform monthly bank and credit card transaction reviews and reconciliations
-
Assist with semi-monthly and monthly distributor payments and maintaining resource information.

Record and monitor Accounts Receivable.
-
Assist with processing employee payroll.
-
Responsible for the distribution of daily invoices and monthly statements.

Assist with issuing weekly, monthly, and year-end financial and tax reports.

Organize and file monthly notices and keep track of state and federal filings for multiple entities.

Assist Controller with the month-end closing process.
-
Cross-trained to act as back-up to other Accounting positions, such as Accounts Payable and Inventory Accounting.

Provide mid-level administrative and financial support and will work closely with other accounting personnel, internal departments, and external parties.

Previous knowledge of and familiarity with various accounting practices and procedures.

Previous general ledger experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and demonstrated ability to learn new software.

Experience with QuickBooks.

Working knowledge of Great Plains is a plus.

Willingness and ability to occasionally travel domestically for training and company events.

Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with two or more years' experience.
