Banquet Bartender (Los Angeles, CA - Sunset Blvd.)

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Take drink orders from guests and serve drinks promptly.
• Set up your bar station and clean up your bar station promptly.
• Ensure that all drinks are served according to established recipes and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, equipment, and surfaces.
• Verify the age of customers to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
• Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary to ensure responsible drinking.
• Keep track of inventory levels and report low stock or shortages to the Banquet/Events Manager.
• Assist with setting up the bar area for service, including stocking supplies, ice, garnishes, and glasses.
• Process customer payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and positive manner.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth bar operations.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations in accordance with local laws and company policies.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
• Attend training and meetings as necessary to stay informed about new products, techniques, and company policies.

• Micros
• Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
• Must have a valid bartending license (if required by local laws) and adhere to all state and local alcohol regulations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
