Job Overview:
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The bartender will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests by adhering to alcohol safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and providing friendly and efficient service. Provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information regarding the restaurant and its operations.

Job Overview:
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The bartender will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests by adhering to alcohol safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and providing friendly and efficient service. Provide guests with accurate and up-to-date information regarding the restaurant and its operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Greet guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Take drink orders from guests and serve drinks promptly.
- Set up your bar station and clean up your bar station promptly.
- Ensure that all drinks are served according to established recipes and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware, equipment, and surfaces.
- Verify the age of customers to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
- Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary to ensure responsible drinking.
- Keep track of inventory levels and report low stock or shortages to the Banquet/Events Manager.
- Assist with setting up the bar area for service, including stocking supplies, ice, garnishes, and glasses.
- Process customer payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and positive manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth bar operations.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations in accordance with local laws and company policies.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
- Attend training and meetings as necessary to stay informed about new products, techniques, and company policies.

- Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine, beer, and spirits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
- Must have a valid bartending license (if required by local laws) and adhere to all state and local alcohol regulations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
