Kit Assembly Technician (Rochester, NY)
Job Title: Graphic Cutter and Kit Assembler
Reports to: Operations Manager
Days Hours Required: 8:30a-4:30p Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime as approved by management
Location: Rochester, NY
Rate of Pay: $18/hr. + rapid opportunity for advancement based on experience

Summary:
A successful Graphic Cutter and Kit Assembler at Diamond Shield will work with the assistance of the Senior Assemblers and Distribution Team, to receive orders, cut, assemble, and ship kits, organize inventory and determine best use of materials.

Technical, Physical, Mental and Visual Skills:
Ability to read, write, type and perform tasks on Microsoft office. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5-30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.

- Receives orders.*
- Processes orders.*
- Assembles kits in a timely manner. *
- Organizes and determines best use of inventory.*
- Tracks inventory at headquarters and factories.*
- Handles shipping to include FedEx, UPS, and USPS.*
- Takes trash out daily, keeps clean workspace throughout the day, sweeping, mopping etc. *
- Ensures weekly task checklist is completed with the assembly team *
