Position Title: Assistant Project Manager

Pay Rate:  $55,000-$65,000

Position Summary: 

The Project Management Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Project Manager and ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing procurement, and assisting in various administrative and coordination tasks to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Enter all change orders and purchase orders into Accumatica. 

  • Ensure all costs and revenue are accurately recorded. 

  • Order and track rentals, dumpsters, and miscellaneous materials. 

  • Find contractors to fill gaps in subcontractor availability. 

  • Assist Project Manager with reports and project close-out activities. 

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure they have necessary resources without overspending. 

  • Notify the Project Manager of long lead-time items. 

  • Ensure client change order logs and Accumatica entries match. 

  • Double-check all documents before sending. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Accumatica or similar project management software is highly preferred. 

  • 2 years of experience in the construction industry is highly preferred 

  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
