AJAY Glass is seeking a skilled CDL A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience driving tractor-trailer units, including operating a standard transmission truck. This position involves driving across Upstate New York (excluding NYC), delivering materials to job sites while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

AJAY Glass is seeking a skilled CDL A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience driving tractor-trailer units, including operating a standard transmission truck. This position involves driving across Upstate New York (excluding NYC), delivering materials to job sites while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a CDL A truck with a trailer, driving throughout New York State (excluding NYC).
- Transport glass and other materials to construction sites.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of materials while maintaining accurate delivery logs.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Safely load and unload materials at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience driving a CDL A truck with a trailer.
- Experience operating a standard transmission vehicle.
- Ability to safely and efficiently drive throughout Upstate New York (excluding NYC).
- Clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy materials.
- No endorsements required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Working Hours:
- Hours may vary, with typical shifts starting at approximately 7:00 AM and ending around 3:30 PM.
Compensation:
- $30 - $32 per hour, based on experience.
