Job Title: Receiving Lead
Location: Henrietta, NY
Department: Morse Sash & Door Shipping Dept.
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with occasional overtime and Saturdays
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Work Authorization: US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Receiving Lead to join our Shipping Department in Henrietta, NY. The Receiving Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate receipt and organization of incoming shipments of building materials, including lumber, residential hardware, and construction supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments using RF Scanner technology, ensuring accuracy and adherence to purchase orders and packing lists.
• Inspect deliveries for quality and completeness, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Record and reconcile received quantities with purchase orders and invoices.
• Organize and label received materials for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight carriers to resolve any discrepancies or delivery issues.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and store materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receiving lead role or 3-4 years in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
• Proficiency in using RF Scanner technology and familiarity with Warehouse Management      Systems (WMS) and ERP Systems.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Clean New York State Driver’s License (Non-CDL Drivers).

Working Conditions:
This position involves working in an un-conditioned warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
