Position: Foreman
Company: Woodstone Earth Construction
Schedule: Be willing to work 40 -55 hours during the summer, Monday-Friday with no weekends
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr. 


At WoodStone Earth Construction, we’re seeking a skilled and driven Civil Foreman to join our growing team. As a Foreman, you’ll lead field operations on active job sites, coordinate crews, and ensure that all work is performed to high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and site plans
  • Coordinate and direct crew members on project methods, tools, and equipment
  • Execute site layout and grading according to project specifications
  • Manage tasks such as site clearing, excavation, drainage, access road construction, and foundation work
  • Oversee trenching for underground utilities
  • Train and mentor junior crew members
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and lead daily tailgate safety meetings
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure work is completed to company and customer standards
  • Efficiently schedule and utilize crew and equipment to meet project deadlines
  • Document project progress through photos and detailed notes

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of civil construction experience required
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a foreman or crew lead role required
  • Skilled in heavy equipment operation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • OSHA certification and working knowledge of safety regulations
  • Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Expected to use an iPad for timekeeping and daily tasks

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work extended hours in outdoor environments
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain
  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and climb around construction equipment and uneven ground
  • Capable of lifting up to 50-75 pounds

This is a full time position
