Position Title: Experienced Carpenter (Level 4)
Reports To: Senior Project Manager & Management Team
Salary: $31-$34/hr. 

Overview:

Carpenter 4 is a senior-level role within Trade Design Build’s construction team, acting as a technical expert, mentor, and leader for other carpenters. This role requires mastery of advanced carpentry skills and a strong understanding of project workflows and are often put on our Medium sized projects or as a member of larger carpentry crews for more complicated projects.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Lead by example and ensure a culture of safety on the job site. 
  • Quality & Conformance: Ensure all carpentry work is done to the highest standard and is aligned with the design intent.  
  • Quality & Conformance: Work to ensure a collaborative approach is taken with all members of the project team.  
  • Quality & Conformance: Provide mentorship to Carpenters 1–3, ensuring their work meets Trade Design Build’s quality expectations. 
  • Schedule & Deadlines: Work closely with the Superintendents/PMs to plan and coordinate daily carpentry work & ensure it is executed efficiently & on schedule.  
  • Cost & Budgets: Work with Superintendents/PMs in tracking labor and material costs for carpentry-related activities. 
  • Client Satisfaction & Professionalism: Deliver craftsmanship that enhances client satisfaction and upholds Trade Design Build’s reputation for excellence. 
  • Client Satisfaction & Professionalism: Ensure jobsites are kept clean and organized while executing day-to-day carpentry work.  

Personal Attributes & Skills: 

  • Extensive experience in a variety of advanced carpentry techniques and a comprehensive understanding of the other trades associated with a project.  
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, with the ability to implement them accurately. 
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to enforce them consistently. 
  • Ability to inspire, guide, and mentor a team of carpenters at different levels (1–3). 
  • Excellent communication & leadership skills.  
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and implement creative solutions. 
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional results that meet client expectations and reflect Trade Design Build’s values. 
  • Professionalism in all interactions with clients, project managers, and other project team members. 
  • OSHA-10 is required for all Level 4 Carpenters
