Traffic Control Officer at the Erato Cruise Terminal (New Orleans, LA)
NOLA Protection Group a leader in professional security services in the New Orleans and surrounding area is currently accepting applications for the role of a Traffic Control Officer at the Erato Cruise Terminal. We are responsible for directing traffic for the cruise ship terminal.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Direct heavy traffic entering cruise ship terminal
- Direct cruise ship passengers to parking terminal
- Great communication skills & Provide customer service
- Able to work under pressure
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must either be registered as a Security Officer with LSBPSE, or be able to meet requirements for registration, including:
- Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police
- Complete 16 hours of necessary classroom training
- Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary assignments, which might include walking or standing for extended periods of time
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Must have a professional appearance
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must have open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must have a valid driver’s license or Valid photo ID
- Must have reliable transportation
- Experience not required, but preferred
