Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour (based on experience).
- Front Gate Lead (Armed / Unarmed): Oversees entry point logistics, manages the gate perimeter, and coordinates team shift tasks.
- Front Gate Magnetometer Pre-Screen Inspector (Unarmed): Manages initial street-level entry screening and visitor flow.
- Upstairs X-Ray Operator - Interior (Unarmed): Operates baggage scanning technology inside the facility floor.
- Upstairs Magnetometer & Bag Check Specialist (Unarmed): Conducts secondary physical bag inspections and metal detection screening.
Positions are available across three standard 8-hour shift rotations:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Graveyard)
- Weapons Detection: Identify and intercept prohibited items using X-ray machines, walk-through, and hand-held magnetometers.
- Confiscation Protocol: Safely confiscate and log unauthorized items following strict facility and legal guidelines.
- Access & Movement Control: Enforce facility curfew hours, monitor resident movement, and manage entry logs.
- Communications: Maintain constant, clear contact with team members using standard two-way radio protocols.
- Reporting: Write clear, detailed Daily Activity Reports (DAR) and Incident Reports (IR) before the end of each shift.
- Valid Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE) Registration Card.
- Valid LSBPSE Firearms Training/Permit (Required for Armed Lead roles).
- Proven proficiency operating security screening technology (X-ray and magnetometers).
- Strong de-escalation skills
- High school diploma or GED, plus excellent written communication skills for documentation.
