OTA is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems and infrastructure. Your extensive knowledge and expertise, accumulated over 20 years of experience, will be essential in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our country's most important technology systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas
- Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations
- Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas
- Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project
- Lead contractor systems engineering activities for a project to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and technicians
- Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more Process Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with current Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus 20 years of systems engineering experience
- OR a High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area).
- OR a Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience
- OR a PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience
