System Administrator

Security Clearance Required 

OTA is seeking detail-oriented System Administrators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system administration, cloud technologies, and virtualization. This role involves maintaining physical and virtual infrastructure, managing accounts, automating tasks through scripting, and supporting cyber training environments. The System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and security of systems, software, and networks.

This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Responsibilities 
  • Possess knowledge equivalent to: CompTIA Security+, VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV), Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure
  • Maintain proficiency in system administration and cloud technologies
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain physical server hardware, including Hard Drives, RAID Controllers, and RAM
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various storage systems to meet operational needs
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain hypervisors such as Elastic Sky X Integrated (ESXi)?????
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain server operating systems for high availability and performance
  • Manage server software, including Active Directory, File Shares, and Windows Deployment Server
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain existing databases to support applications and services
  • Create and manage User Accounts, Computer Accounts, Security Groups, Distribution Lists
  • Facilitate data transfer across networks to ensure seamless access for users
  • Develop and implement scripts to automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python,
  • Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain LMS software, including Question Mark, Moodle, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain VDI solutions to provide remote desktop access
  • Provide Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) Support including Local Trusted Agent (LTA) duties, Managing account requests, Serving as the PCTE Helpdesk Liaison
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain building access control systems, including Server maintenance, Virtual Machine (VM) deployment, License renewal and management
Required Qualifications
  • Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility 
  • Bachelor's degree or approved equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of cyber and/or information technology duties and experience 
  • IAT/M Level II
